How much is it?
The answer to this question depends entirely on the needs of each space. If you were to just build out a single room, pricing would be comparable to other AV systems you may have purchased in the past. However, each subsequent space added to the system becomes substantially cheaper. You will be saving thousands of dollars per room, which adds up quickly on projects of scale!
Who is this for?
Everyone! If a space has Audio or Video, it will benefit from this system.
Why is it better than what we have?
Three Reasons:

MTI Connect is highly flexible – because the equipment in this design is agnostic, you aren’t tied to equipment from a specific manufacturer. We can control and integrate almost anything with an API.

MTI Connect is highly scalable - the system can grow with your organization for years to come, and with central processing already in place, scaling is cost effective!

It’s easy to maintain. Because the system is centrally managed, you can monitor and control an entire building from a single portal. With some remote access features enabled, you can even do so from home.
Will it be easy to use?
Absolutely. Every part of the system is custom designed for your team. We can adjust the look and functionality of each interface according to the preferences of the people that use it.
How much can one system do / How big can it get?
This structure is infinitely scalable – if you were to ever max out the capabilities of an existing system, we can add components to accommodate for additional growth! How much we can load onto a single system will vary by the application, but here are some ballpark figures: our smallest option could comfortably run 12 conference rooms, whereas one of our large-scale systems could run over 200 conference rooms.
What is the operating system?
Linux, running our custom-programmed software.
What are the network requirements?
These may vary by application, but you can expect one VLAN for Audio and Control, and a second VLAN for Video traffic. These VLAN’s can be completely isolated from all other network traffic. MTI Connect requires the following protocols: mDNS, SSH, WSD, PTPv2 (or v1 if Dante audio is in use), HTTPS, as well as a handful of TCP and UDP ports.
Bandwidth consumption will vary by scale of application, however gigabit links are required.
Documentation on network requirements, including detailed configuration guides by manufacturer, can be provided to your network team upon request.
Can we accommodate and customize email/SMS notifications when devices have errors?
Yes, we can build custom email notifications. Text alerts are also possible, but they require knowing the recipient’s mobile carrier in advance. With that information, we can configure SMS notifications as part of your alert system setup.
Can this run on an iPad or Android tablet?
Yes! Control interfaces can be accessed from any web browser, so long as the device is on the same network. We can work with your network team to ensure that it will work for everyone that needs it.
What level of customization do you have over the graphics?
Each interface is entirely custom. We are happy to work alongside your graphics/marketing department to make a system that blends seamlessly with your branding.
