To say our inaugural Mason Blood Drive on June 20th was a success would be an understatement. The Mason Family—and our wider community—showed up in force. We didn’t just meet expectations. We crushed them.
In partnership with the New York Blood Center (NYBC), we originally set out with a goal of 32 donors. Instead, 59 individuals rolled up their sleeves and donated, contributing more than 60 pints of blood—enough to potentially save the lives of 177 people in need.
When New York Faced a Blood Emergency, Mason Delivered
This blood drive came at a critical time. New York State was in the midst of an official Blood Emergency, with hospitals holding less than two days’ supply of blood in reserve. The need was urgent. So, as we always do, Mason stepped up.
We’re proud to say our Deer Park HQ became a place of action, compassion, and impact.
The Mason Experience Left a Mark
The NYBC team didn’t just collect blood—they experienced what makes Mason special. From the warm welcomes to the steady flow of generous donors, the food truck, breakfast spread, and post-donation ice cream treats, the energy on-site was electric.
The NYBC staff couldn’t stop raving about the turnout, the hospitality, and the heart behind it all. They said it felt like family. They were right.
Looking Ahead: Bigger, Bolder, and Even More Impactful
We’re already looking forward to the next one—and we know we can go even bigger. This wasn’t just about meeting a goal. It was about showing up when it matters most.
Thank you to every single donor, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this event unforgettable. You didn’t just give blood.
You gave hope.
