Cabling is the longest life cycle component of the entire network

Cabling is the longest life cycle component of the entire network

A properly designed, installed, and administered cabling system reduces costs through each phase of its life cycle: installation; moves, adds, and changes (MAC); maintenance and administration. The importance of cabling should be neither overlooked nor underestimated.

Cabling is the longest life cycle component of the entire network, outlived only by the office building shell.

The crucial bloodlines of your business rely on a strong foundation of properly designed, installed and tested structured cabling system. The structured cabling in a typical environment ends up being miles of cabling, essential to keeping your communications running of which all of your business activities rely upon. It’s very likely that a cabling outage will impact your voice and data communications which can account for 70% of network downtime. With operating costs that range between $1,000 and $50,000 per hour it is easy to see how important it is to control downtime. Depending on how long downtime lasts, it can be costly, possibly impacting your business processes and employee productivity. By installing a standard compliant structured cabling system, much of this downtime can be effectively eliminated.

Your business relies on a strong foundation

A structured cabling system represents only 5% of the total network investment, which will outlive most other networking components. A well-built structured cabling system will be a sound investment in the future productivity of your company.

We understand that the most important thing about the installation of your network infrastructure is the skill and expertise of the company you choose to work with.
